Every time someone shows up, something happens up front. So, it's causing your business to kind of go down, but you don't know
You have to frame it. Hey, I really think like you got something special here
You're framing it from the angle of I'm trying to help you
You're not hearing what's probably going on If you're trying to grow as a business, then don't you need that feedback?
I think most people the issue is the way it's framed
Are you being constructive in the feedback? I think that's one thing you have to pay attention to Perspective is reality. Does not matter what the intention is
The way I'm being perceived is totally different Feedback is the breakfast of champions
I don't think you have room for improvement if you can't allow somebody to give you feedback
You should always create a space for that You can't see everything that's going on in your business
As a business owner, you have to take the emotion out of it
Take the criticism and try to see where they're coming from
Start from a foundation that no one hates you, no one is trying to tear you down
If you're hearing you're doing good all the time and never any negative, somebody's lying
Dig deeper. What about it sucks?
If the intent of your feedback is getting change and results, then you have to say, okay, how would I want this to be presented to me?
Complacency is the enemy of progress
You need to be intentional about asking for feedback You create value when you ask people to give you feedback
