You’re an employee in your own business essentially. They’re working for their business all the time.
What if I told you that the pursuit of money is actually keeping most people poor?
I don't think wealth is something tangible. You know, rich, yes, you have money, but true wealth comes in being able to have peace of mind, being able to maintain the relationships that truly matter to you and being able to have your time back.
Some people still have money and still can't say that, because the job or the career or the business runs them.
The real currency on why we're alive is really us, right? Relationships and how much you're enjoying and are present.
What is it worth that I'm working 24/7, but my kids don't even know who I am?
What are you going to look back on and said, "Man, I had a successful life."
In that hustle and grind, we forget the people are the important things.
We project our goals and call it ambition, but our goals are truly shaped by social media, family members, or keeping up with the Joneses.
If you had to do it again, what is something that you wish you would change? And majority of the time it's usually the relationship aspect or the time aspect.
Impact is a better currency than income.
You are not alone in this struggle.
