There's a psychology behind too much information.
I feel like I'm one of those people that spend so much time researching to the point that nothing ever makes sense again.
At some point there's going to be some diminishing returns inside all of that research that people are doing.
They want to find a way to do it right the first time without messing up.
Part of it is perfection, you feel like until you have everything that you need, you can't start.
Sometimes I tend to think that because I'm researching, I'm actually doing work when that's not the reality.
The internet makes it so easy for you to think that you're actually learning.
When you feel like the more you learn, the further from the goal you are.
I can never get to a point where I can make a decision that this thing is final.
The biggest issue is when you're stepping into a realm that you don't have enough information on or know enough about.
In the inaction, you're actually losing money.
I have a 70% rule. Meaning that I don't need to know everything. I just need to know 70%.
It's not going to be perfect, but you'll be so surprised how much you can learn from what you've already put out.
You can't just look for the perfect joke forever. You got to go tell the joke in front of people and then get the feedback.
It's not about perfect execution, it's about consistent motion.
You can study the playbook all day. You don't get no reps, you know.
Sometimes all you need is the idea to get started, and then you just figure the rest out.
If you don't know how to research, leverage the people around you.
